Bhagalpur, Bihar's third-largest city, needed a complete overhaul of its road network to meet Smart City standards. The existing roads suffered from poor drainage, no pedestrian infrastructure, inadequate lighting, and mixed traffic conditions across 50+ km of arterial corridors.
VRSIPL delivered a full streetscape transformation — PQC rigid pavement and bituminous surfaces across mixed corridor types, paver block footpaths, LED street lighting, stormwater drainage with channels and catch basins, junction improvements, median development, and underground utility ducting. All work was executed within the 24-month timeline.
