VRSIPL Secures ₹285 Crore Water Supply Contract in Madhya Pradesh

Velji Ratna Sorathia Infra Pvt. Ltd. (VRSIPL) has been awarded a Rs 285 Crore EPC contract by the Madhya Pradesh Jal Nigam for construction of a bulk water supply and distribution network in Sehore district. The project will serve over 120 villages and benefit approximately 3.2 lakh residents.

Project Scope

  • Intake structure and raw water pumping main (18 km)
  • Water Treatment Plant with capacity of 42 MLD
  • Clear Water Reservoir and elevated service reservoirs
  • Gravity and pumping distribution mains (220+ km)
  • Household connections for 32,000+ homes
  • SCADA-based online monitoring system

Execution Timeline

The project carries a 30-month completion timeline. VRSIPL's Water Supply & Pipeline division will mobilise equipment over the next 45 days. Executive Director Shri Haresh Sorathia said: "Water is the most critical infrastructure need in rural India today. This project aligns perfectly with our purpose."
